Most moves are a mix, and you don't have to sort it out before you call. Here's the short version.
- Moving a whole home nearby? That's a local move. Our crew, our truck, furniture wrapped and set up in the new rooms.
- Leaving Tennessee? That's a long-distance move. You get a flat written price, and the crew that loads your truck delivers it.
- Already have a rental truck, a PODS container or a storage unit? Book moving labor. You handle the truck. We do the lifting.
- Just one heavy piece, or a piano? See furniture and piano moving.
- Short on time to pack? Add packing, for the whole house or just the kitchen.
- Got things you're not taking? Add junk removal, with your move or on its own.

How we quote
Every quote is free. We quote over the phone, or for bigger homes we come out and do a walk-through at no charge. It helps to have a list of your big pieces, a rough box count, and the stairs, elevators and parking at both ends.
Local moves are usually quoted by the time the job takes, with a crew sized to the move. Long-distance and in-state moves get a flat written price that's binding once you accept it. It only changes if you add services. We never take a deposit, and changing your date is free.
What comes with every move
- A crew sized to the job, from two movers for a small move to larger crews and more than one truck for big homes.
- Our own background-checked, in-house movers, many of them with us for years. We do not use subcontractors.
- Our own 16- and 26-foot trucks. For a steep or narrow driveway we send the smaller truck.
- Moving blankets, shrink wrap and mattress covers, plus taking apart and putting back together beds and other furniture.

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine services, for example packing plus a local move?
Yes. Most moves are a mix. Tell us what you want done when you ask for a quote and we include it all in one quote.
Which areas do you serve?
All of East Tennessee, and long-distance moves to other states. See service areas.
Do you move on Sundays?
No. We do not move on Sundays. Summer and weekend dates book up first, so about 4–6 weeks ahead is best.
Do I need an in-home estimate?
Not always. Smaller moves are easy to quote over the phone. For bigger homes and long-distance moves we'd rather come see it, so your quote matches what's actually moving. Either way it's free.
Do you take a deposit?
No. You pay when the crew has finished unloading, by cash, check or card.
